From time to time, the Charity asks grantees to blog about their project, providing a unique insight into their journeys.
The V&A started the Charity’s first blog in 2011 to share their experiences of working with secondary schools in the Charity’s Beneficial Area. The Project Co-ordinator candidly detailed her journey over the three-year project sharing her successes and challenges in working with these schools. We had many very interesting and useful comments and suggestions from organisations that are also working with schools in northwest London.
In 2013, one of the Charity’s Special Initiatives, the Primary Shakespeare Company was invited to contribute to a blog, detailing the progress of schools participating in Shakespeare Festivals throughout the Beneficial Area. We had great feedback from participating schools, theatre practitioners and parents who had seen their children acting in Shakepeare’s plays.
In 2015, Beth Williams, Quality & Membership Officer at London Youth, blogged about on her work with youth clubs in the Beneficial Area and the progress of their Quality Mark programme.
