All grants are categorised into nine Programme Areas. These Programme Areas reflect a huge variety of projects and organisations that seek to help children and young people, either by providing them with opportunities or addressing specific needs directly.

Arts & Science
We aim to support and champion high quality, inclusive Arts & Science activities and provision that widens access and participation for under-represented groups.

Children & Families
We seek to help parents give their children the best start in life by supporting a variety of projects that help develop parenting skills, support those in need and prevent families from reaching crisis point.

Education & Learning
We seek to raise the aspirations, broaden horizons and provide opportunities for all children and young people, to break the link between social disadvantage and educational underachievement while encouraging parental engagement in children’s learning.

Emotional Wellbeing
We aim to support high quality, children and young people centred initiatives that help those most in need of support, including programmes delivered in school settings.

Special Needs & Disability
We support organisations that provide opportunities for children and young people with special needs and disabilities to have the same experiences as their peers and to help them become more independent and be in control of their own decisions.

Sports
We aim to support organisations that encourage participation in sport, nurture talent and provide access to high quality services and equipment. We also support projects that enable young people to gain coaching qualifications.

Training, Apprencticeships and Internships
We are committed to supporting training, apprenticeships and internships for young people to provide them with skills and qualifications to help them achieve economic and social independence.

Youth Clubs & Youth Activities
We are one of the main supporters of youth clubs and youth activities in our Beneficial Area. We are committed to supporting high quality, open access provision and innovative youth work in a safe space.
